We are developing a Shopify eCommerce website for a client in the perfume industry. The site will feature a clean, elegant design tailored to highlight premium fragrance products. The developer will be responsible for creating a custom theme based on the Figma design guidelines and implementing 4 key pages: Homepage, Collection Page, Product Details Page and About Us Page. The site must be responsive, fast-loading and optimised for a smooth user experience across mobile and desktop devices. Attention to detail and clean, maintainable code are essential. The development is expected to be within 3-4 weeks, starting in mid-late August. ------------------ Requirements: - Minimum 2-3 years of web development experience, especially in Wordpress and Shopify. - Proven experience with Shopify development (themes, Liquid, apps and Storefront API). - Proficiency in JavaScript ES5/ES6+, HTML5, SCSS/CSS, jQuery and Hydrogen React. Being able to use Webpack is a plus. - Able to accurately implement designs from Figma into Shopify themes. - Good eyes for Front-end development, able to create clean, smooth animations and optimise page load speeds. - Able to write clean code using standard English for comments, variable names and other identifiers. - Able to test and debug their own work to ensure functionality, responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. - Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Great attention to details.
